Add your Fixed Piccy to the Piccyfix Gallery !

For a bit of fun, why not add your fixed Piccy to the Piccyfix gallery ?

It's really easy.. just tick the gallery option before you upload your picture, then on the  Generate  page you can add a nickname and a caption if you want.

Are there any limits or restrictions?

Nope! For any picture that you fix, you can upload to the gallery

Of course, please don't upload anything illegal or unsuitable. If you do, it will be deleted. Please contact us if you see anything in this category posted on the gallery.

What types and sizes of Photos, Images and Pictures can be put in the gallery ?

You can upload up to 8 Megapixel photos in .bmp, .gif, .jpg, .png formats into the Piccfix Editor.

Piccyfix Gallery only allows .jpg, .png and .gif formats in the gallery, but not .bmp (windows bitmap).

If you choose the Gallery option from the home page, although you can upload .bmp format, if you don't choose another format, it will automatically be converted to .jpg format for the gallery.

No matter which size you choose for your Fixed Piccy, if bigger than 300 pixels wide or high, it will automatically be resized smaller so that all images in the gallery look nice.

But don't let this affect the Size you choose for your fixed Piccy - whatever you choose will be respected for your Download link at the end. Piccyfix might then resize it smaller just for the gallery.

How private is the Piccyfix Gallery ?

Just like all public gallery sites, Not at all!. Putting pictures in the gallery is at your own risk.

As soon as you have hit the Generate and add to the Gallery button, the picture is publicly available on the internet for anyone to see.

This obviously includes the First name/nickname you supply (optional), and the caption(optional). Please don't put anything in these fields that could identify you.

Can I Hot-Link from another site (eg. MySpace) to a Gallery Picture ?

Sorry, but you can only view the Gallery pictures by visiting the Piccyfix Gallery Page.

If you want upload a Piccy, fix it, then hot-link to it, please choose the Hosting option before uploading.

Can I delete a picture that I have uploaded and added to the Gallery?

Please note there is NO way for you to go into Piccyfix to delete a Gallery picture, or change the caption or nickname.

This is because without registration (which we deliberately avoid because it is a pain), there's no way you can prove that you were the person that uploaded it.

So, if in doubt, please don't use the gallery feature.

I have Generated twice with the same image, and a duplicate has appeared in the Gallery!

No problem. Someone from Piccyfix scans the Gallery from time to time, and will spot the duplicate and remove one.
