How to use Piccyfix to Flip your photo, image or picture, FREE online

Starting from the Home Page, choose your photo, then choose  Run All wizard Steps, and the second step after uploading will allow you to do the flip.

If there are any other wizard steps that you want to skip, just choose the 'Original' picture on that step. You will end up on the Generate page which generates your final flipped image.

Flipping Guidelines

As an example, Flip Option 1 flips along the y axis - horizontally. This would make a beauty spot on a face appear on the other side of the persons face.

Flip Option 2 flips along the x axis - vertically. This would make a face appear upside down.

Flipping an image vertically is technically the same as rotating it 180 degrees (see another wizard step). The face would appear upside down.

Flip option 3 flips both top and side, which would move the beauty spot to the other side, and turn the face upside down.

All of the above explanation is just background information which you won't really need.

When you use Piccyfix, the wizard will flip the images all ways, then you just pick the photo that looks correct. Easy as that!.

Flipping Explanation

Flipping an image, picture, or photo transforms it either vertically or horizontally, as if a mirror was place at the top or at the side.

You would flip an image to deliberately swap the left and right sides around or to switch the bottom and top sides around.

If the picture is flipped vertically (along it's top/x axis) this will make the bottom of the picture appear at the top, and the top at the bottom.

If the photo is flipped horizontally (along it's side/y axis), this will make the left side of the picture appear on the right, and the right at the left.

If the image is flipped both horizontally and vertically, both of the above flip transformations will be done. The top left will appear at the bottom right, and the bottom right at the top left.

Warning - in your pics, watch out for any words, or names or writing in the photos. These will get flipped too, and be the wrong way around. Sometimes the photo date is also in one corner - the same will happen, and it will look a little strange.
